Annabelle Gurwitch

Annabelle Gurwitch (born April 14, 1970) is a famous American comedy actress, writer and host of a TV show. Her most well-known role was as the hostess of Dinner and a Movie. She also has a strong passion for environmental issues and humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times best-selling author and an internationally acclaimed actor, was the best-selling New York Times Author for her memoirs: In the Place You Are They Are I See You Made An Effort I Say Tomato You say I'm fired, and you Say Shut up and was fired. Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch hosts Dinner & a Movie on TBS for a number of years. Television viewers will be familiar with her appearances on programs like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown as well as the program on sustainability WA$TED that was broadcast by The Planet Green Network. There are regular appearances on PBS Newhour Real Time, on NPR and in The Hollywood Reporter. Alongside writing op eds she also writes satires that are published by The New Yorker WSJ The Hollywood Reporter. An actress, her performances onstage have made her one of the critics"Top Ten performances in The New York Times as well as The Los Angeles Times. Annabelle offers her insight and humour in her perspective on the process of aging of our world that's so focused on youth. Annabelle has performed her highly acclaimed work at international theater festivals, during the annual 92nd St Y Prevention Magazine AARP gatherings and groups of women across the United States.
