Maria Bartiromo was the first American journalist who broadcast live on the New York Stock Exchange. There are a variety of well-known show to her name. With more than twenty years of experience as a journalist, Maria Bartiromo was instrumental in establishing the television channel CNBC to be one of most prominent in economic and business reportage. Her highly successful journalistic career is a proof that this lady was destined for this particular field. Yet as a young woman Maria was confused as to the best career choice. At first, she wanted to be a singer. In the end, she chose to pursue interior designer. When she was able to experience the benefits of journalism, she has never went back. This feisty woman is not only a great journalist, she's also a role model to other women who are trying to succeed in a male-dominated field. The first ever woman to join the Cable Hall of Fame, and was named one of the fifty Faces who Shaped Decade. She is also a journalist as well as a columnist.
Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn, an American actor in TV and film in theatre as well as film and television. She is a talented thespian who has been performing professionally for over the past 27 years. Her acting debut was on stage during an off-Broadway production called The Big Funk by John Patrick Shanley in 1990. In The Perfect Tribute, she had her debut TV role one year later. In 1992, when she played as a support role in the movie Basic Instinct the film, her career started to take off. The Firm was the film where she became the leading female for the first time and for the only time. The film was in competition with Tom Cruise, Gene Hackman and others. In the 90s, she worked with some of the biggest stars in the industry including Gwyneth Paltrow as Sliding Doors Hugh Grant in Mickey Blue Eyes and Julie Andrews in Relative Values. Recently she played Dr Alex Blake in the internationally famous crime drama that is a police procedural Criminal Minds.
